Had a brilliant time. So much to do in the local area and a lovely little walk to the beach, once u get past the main road. Well equipped. Really helpful hosts who reply straight away. Brilliant pub opposite. Lovely little cottage with original features. A little let down with the garden, Gardener did turn up tbf but didn't do much? 😅 Thank you very much for making it a magical time.read moreread less

We had a fabulous stay in Pound Cottage. Everything in the cottage has been thought about and chosen with care. The garden is very pretty. We sampled both pubs in the village, lovely food and a friendly welcome.read moreread less

This is a very solid and enjoyable place to stay. I *almost* docked it a star for how close the road is to the cottage (literally right next to it - a large lorry idled next to the cottage for a few minutes and it shook the whole place), but honestly everything else made up for that! The host was really flexible and kind to accommodate us, the place was really clean and in good order all around, the beds were soft and comfortable (which is actually very rare in a lot of Airbnbs). The place is incredibly charming, but taller people need to know it's got low ceilings on the first floor. It's really proximate to the beach, some nice pubs within walking distance. We loved the log burning fire, decent telly, the kitchen was practical and was not just stocked with cheap leftover utensils. The furniture is nice, especially the leather couches. Good water pressure (we were jealous of that one hah!).Overall it was great. We made a lot of lasting family memories here!read moreread less

We had the most lovely break at Pound Cottage after Christmas. It was super cosy and had a very nice feel to it as well as being equipped with everything we could need. The Christmas tree and complementary treat were a particularly nice touch! Thank youread moreread less

We had a lovely stay in this cosy little cottage. Everything we needed was there and having the wood burner was so lovely, we always miss ours at home when we are away in the winter. The local pubs were very friendly and we had some lovely meals at the Anchor in Seatown. Also some very good walks straight from the cottage…all round a really nice break.read moreread less

This is a great place to explore the coast bring only a short walk from the Seatown and the Golden Cap. Don’t miss the extraordinary Catholic Church next to Chideock Manor. The cottage is comfortable with an open plan living area and well stocked kitchen.read moreread less

prachtige Airbnb met huiselijk sfeer. Genoeg ruimte en geen gebrek aan keukengerei etc. Twee goede slaapkamers met comfortabele bedden. Beneden zeer knus en mooi tuintje. De wandeling naar het strand is heerlijk en het strand is prachtig. Voor de langere mensen onder ons: de woonkamer is niet zo hoog, dus pas op je hoofd. In eerdere recensies lazen we over het verkeer, dit is inderdaad goed hoorbaar maar heeft ons niet gestoord. Parkeren voor de deur is top!read moreread less

Lovely cottage with everything you need and more. Great welcome pack, the host was super responsive and answered all my queries promptly. Only downside is next to a very busy road, we visited in August which probably didn’t help. I’m sure it would be quieter out of peak season.read moreread less
