From Pound Cottage to Seatown (the nearest beach)
Walking (10 – 15mins pleasant walk)
On leaving the cottage and parking area turn left and walk past Cairns Farm and find the bridlepath adjacent to Rose Cottage. Walk along the bridlepath and past the childrens’ play area. Cut through the cottages and onto the road. Bear left and walk uphill past the Thatchers’ farm, Golden Cap Caravan park and a cottage selling home made jam and eggs (might be worth bringing some change with you!) You will walk past the caravan site shop and down past the Anchor Inn pub and restaurant to the sea.
Driving (1 – 2 minutes)
On leaving the cottage and parking area turn left and drive past the village shop then turn left onto Duck Lane following the sign to Seatown. Follow the road round to the right and uphill then downhill and past the caravan site entrance towards the beach carpark or the Anchor Inn pub carpark.
